Introduction
These terms describe how Varun Harsh, trading as Diziweb ("I", "me"), provides website design and development services, and how this website may be used. Each project may also have its own written proposal or agreement. If that agreement differs from these terms, the written agreement for that project takes priority.
Services
I design and develop websites for businesses, including business websites, landing pages, redesigns, appointment websites, WhatsApp integration, basic SEO setup and optional maintenance, as described on the Services page. Personalised demo concepts may be offered before a project starts, at my discretion.
Project scope
The pages, features and deliverables for each project are agreed in writing before work begins. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately. If you ask for something extra during a project, I'll tell you what it adds to the cost or the timeline before doing the work.
Client responsibilities
To keep a project on track, clients are responsible for providing, on time:
- Content such as text, logo, photos and business details
- Clear feedback on concepts and drafts
- Access to domain and hosting accounts where needed
- Confirmation that they have the right to use the content they provide
Delays in content or feedback may affect delivery dates.
Payments
Each project is quoted as a fixed price before work starts. 50% is payable in advance to begin, and the remaining 50% before the website goes live. Payment is by UPI or bank transfer. Work may be paused on projects with overdue payments.
Revisions
Two rounds of revisions are included at the concept stage, and one round after development. Further changes are quoted separately, and I'll always tell you before any extra cost applies.
Delivery
Estimated timelines are shared before development starts and depend on scope, content availability and required functionality. Dates shared during a project are estimates rather than guarantees, and can move if content or feedback is delayed.
Third-party services
Some features rely on third-party services, such as hosting, domain registrars, form services, booking tools, maps or WhatsApp. These are provided under their own terms. I'm not responsible for changes, outages or costs imposed by those providers.
Hosting and domain
Domains are registered in your name, and hosting accounts are set up in your name wherever possible, so you always own them. Where I register a domain or set up hosting on your behalf, the first year's cost is as stated in your quote. Renewals after that are paid by you, directly to the registrar or hosting company.
Intellectual property
Once the final payment is received, the completed website and the design work produced for you become yours. Third-party fonts, images, plugins or services stay under their own licences. I may show the finished website, and screenshots of it, as an example of my work, unless you ask me in writing not to.
Website content
Clients are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content they provide, including text, images and claims about their services. I may decline to publish content that appears unlawful or misleading.
Cancellation and refunds
Either of us can cancel a project in writing at any time. If you cancel, the work completed up to that point is payable, and the advance is applied to it.
The advance is refundable only if work hasn't started. Once work has started it isn't refundable, because it covers time already spent. If I cancel a project before it's finished, anything you've paid for work I haven't done is returned to you.
Maintenance
Maintenance is optional and provided only when agreed. It's billed separately from the website project, and what's included, how quickly I respond and how it's charged are agreed in writing before it starts. Either of us can end a maintenance arrangement with reasonable notice.
Limitation of liability
I take reasonable care over every project. To the extent allowed by law, my total liability for any claim connected with a project is limited to the amount you have paid me for that project. I'm not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business, or for problems caused by third-party services, hosting outages, or content you supply.

Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed. Terms agreed for a specific project apply to that project.
